 The Canadian Bomb Threat

Lucy was cold. She was sad that she had left her coat at Tara's house. She couldn't believe that Carter was gone. After                                                                                                                      
all that trouble trying to get him to like her she had failed. She walked through the front door of her house and she nearly
jumped from the alarm of her house security screeching! She thought in her mind at first" someone is breaking into my
house". Then she said out loud" That's silly I have the best security in the world". She thought that it was probally just a
rat or her cat Muffin that accidentilly set off the alarm. With that she set of in the direction of  the kitchen, she was hungry.
She got to the kitchen and started to prepare for herself a pot of macaroni and cheese with hot dogs in it and Sprite when
she heared a noise upstairs. She thought it was another cat, but the noise sounded like an screech and that definetely
wasn't Muffin her cat. So with that she left her bowl of food on the table and went upstairs to investigate. She picked up a
baseball bat( that she left beside her bed for emergencies) and walked towards the room where she had heared the noise.
When she was outside the room, she hefted her bat and ran into the room and she saw.... nothing. Then a hand appered
out of nowhere and covered her mouth with a stinky cloth that she realized with horror that it was chloroform the drug used
to knock out victims in each mystery movie she had seen. Her head began to spin and she thought" I hope Carter is
alive, and I hope he finds me". With that her vision went black.




                                                                                   Tara

Tara had tried to sooth to her parents about Carters dissapearence, but even she had a hard time consoling herself.
The police came and questioned her but she couldn't tell them much. When the police left the house the doorbell rang
again and a man came in. Tara saw his badge and saw that he was a member of the Canadian SWAT. He saw Tara and
a look of disgust wavered across. Tara's father said" Exscuse me who are you and what are you doing here?" The
SWAT officer said" Im officer Stevenson, Im here about your son Carter, I see that you filed a missing person report
about him? "Yes we did,said Tara's dad, did you find him"? The SWAT officer shook his head. "No we didn't, but I saw
your son at the CN Tower yesterday, he was trying to get into the CN Tower. WE couldn't let him because im sure you
know of the bomb threat. But he went in anyway. When he came out he talked to the OPP officer and said someone had
planted a bomb on the reactor. At first we didn't beleive him but when we went up there it turns out he was right, there
was a bomb made out of plutoniom right on the reactor. Mom gasped, " Well, did you take it out?" "Yes we did, said the
officer, and we also arrested three criminals who confessed to placing the bomb in the reactor. But the bad news was
that the terroists broke out of jail yesterday, and we are afraid that they are heading back for Carter. Now that you filed
a missing person report, we know that they are going after your son. Mom started to cry and Dad tried to comfort her but
it was no use. Even Tara got tears in her eyes, but she forced them back into her eyes. Tara said," Aren't you looking
for him?"  The SWAT officer said" Yes we are looking for him, but your son broke into a highly restricted area. For that
when we find him we will have to put him in our custody until we are sure he won't exspose that radiation to anyone
else." Tara began to say somthing when a knock came at the door. The SWAT officer pulled out his pistol and mouthed
the words" Get into the kitchen". So the family went in and Officer pulled open the door and came face to face with
another SWAT officer. Officer Steveson sighed and said" Fred, don't you ever remember to knock?" "Sorry said Officer
Fred but I have some important news for the family, we just got a ransom message from the terroists. They want 50,00000 for him. "What said Tara and her parents together????
We also have a lead on your brother. A civilian saw a black car heading for the woods. But what made
the civilian so suspiciuns was when they knocked over there garbage cans they never stopped to help
and when the person went to pick them up he saw a a young boy in the back tied up. Then they sped
off. They went in the direction of Dead Mans Skull. They are probally going to.... He didn't need to
finish the sentence. We are going to set up a sting. SWAT if heading there right now.




                                                      Carter

Carter woke up to the smell of bacon and eggs, then he realized that he hadn't eaten since last night at the school
dance. Rocky said" Wakey,wakey. Then he splashed water onto Carters face. When Carter got up it looked like he was
in an abandoned warehouse because there was no windows. It was night outside and Carters head was still groggy
from the knockout cloth. He sat up dazed, but then he realized about how noisy it was inside the room there were
machines and even people working about. Then Carter msut have realized that he was in a ware housefactory. It looked
like the workers were making.... were those guns? Winnie was sitting at a stove and cooking bacon and eggs in a frying
pan. Hone was loading and cleaning his Winchester rifle. After all of them had eaten breakfast Winnie grabbed Carters
arm and said" Come on kid lets go out back for a little ride". Carters stomach got sqeamish, were they going to kill him?
Rocky blindfolded him( again) and his legs and arms were lifted up in the air and he was being carried down a set of
stairs. Then he was thrown into the back seat of a car and they drove off. About 30 minutes later they stopped and
Rocky lifted him out and propped him against a tree. He took off his blindfold and tied him against the tree. Hone was
readying his gun. Carter thought in his head" This is it, this is were im going to die". Hone lifted up his gun and BANG!
Carter had closed his eyes but when he opened them he thought" Im still alive then hang on a minute who shot"? Then
he saw the army of SWAT. One of the commandoes guns was smoking, then he realized Hone was on the ground
bleeding. Then to his suprise Carter saw his Mom and Dad and even Tara. He ran over and hugged them. Then they all
went back home and Carter went to bed.
